ROWE, Frances Ada (née ALLEN) - (28 June 1918 - 07 May 2020) At peace now, passed away on May 7, 2020 nearing her 102nd birthday, after a decline in health. Beloved wife of the late John Earle Rowe (1914-2015). Survived by sons Frank (Cathy) and Cliff; grandchildren Chris and Allie (Kyle); and great grandchildren Jackson, Marley, Carter, Finley, Milly, and Mack. Predeceased by her sisters Eleanor (Gord Collins), Margaret (Harry Letch) and brother in law Bob (Daisy Evans). Remembered by her nephews, Allen (Phyllis), Don (Collette); niece Dianne (Bill Molson) and their families. We would like to express our deep appreciation to the staff at the Perley-Rideau Veterans' Health Centre for all their care and friendship over the past five years. Both Earle (RCAF-Lancaster Pilot) and Frances (WREN- Switchboard Operator) were proud survivors of WWII. They married after the war and enjoyed a loving relationship of nearly 69 years together, the majority of time living in St Lambert, Quebec, prior to moving to the Ottawa region to be close to their adult sons and grandchildren in 1991. In memoriam donations to the PRVHC foundation would be appreciated. No service will be held at this time but a future date and details of a celebration of life for Frances will be announced later by the family.
