Darrel James Ellerton

Born: 23 Dec 1944, Victoria, British Columbia

 

Died: 08 Jun 2004, Squamish, British Columbia

 

ELLERTON, Darrel James - in Squamish, BC after a short battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by brother Donald in 1955, daughter Denise in 1973, and father LCdr James Ellerton in 1984. He is survived by sons Carl and Jason of Squamish, mother Anne McCully of Victoria, brothers John (Gail) of Victoria, Robert (Christine) of Burnaby, and all his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. After serving in the RCN for 7 years, he went on to become a top notch welder (Local 170), known throughout Western Canada for his skills in the trade. He will be missed by everybody who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 to 4:00 in the Squamish Funeral Chapel on Saturday 26 June. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
