John Charles Morrison

Born: 04 Nov 19196, Edmonton, Alberta

 

Died: 10 May 1986, Victoria, British Columbia

 

MORRISON, John Charles - In Victoria, BC on May 10, 1986 at the Victoria General Hospital, aged 68, born in Edmonton, Alberta and a long time resident of Victoria. He leaves his loving wife, Sophia; three sons and their wives, Robert and Faye, of Chilliwack, Ronald and Sandi, of Victoria, Raymond and Irene of Nanaimo; seven grandchildren; step-daughters, Mrs. H. (Marilyn) White, of Victoria and Mrs. Beverley Macarthur, of Regina; stepson, Fred, of Victoria; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; also a brother, Ed Morrison, of Victoria. He served overseas during the Second World War with the RCN and later served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Langford and a member of the Chief's and Petty Officer's Association. Funeral service in McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, on Friday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. M. Ames officiating. Interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, may be made to the charity of one's choice.

 

John retired from the RCN on 07 Jun 1956.
