Born: 16 Jun 1931, Newdale, Manitoba

 

Died: 31 Mar 2020, Winnipeg, Manitoba

 

WOOD, Ronald Arthur - Ron passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre. He was born in Newdale, MB. He was in the Navy for five years, in the Korean Theatre of War. In 1954, he joined the Winnipeg Police Department, retiring after 36 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife Mavis; daughter Wendy Johnson; daughter-in-law Sharon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Ronald, Gary and Randy. Ron always enjoyed a good game of crib and his pets. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be sent to Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
