Died: 01 May 1984, Victoria, British Columbia

 

McVIE, David Harper - at the Memorial Pavilion, Victoria, BC on May 1, 1984, David Harper McVie, aged 75 years, born in Vancouver, BC. A resident of the Memorial Pavilion since May 29, 1979. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He served overseas with the RCNR during the Second World War, being discharged in 1945 as a Stoker Petty Officer. He was a Stationary Engineer with Union Steamships from 1947-1953 and with the Vancouver School Board from 1953-1967, when he retired. He was a member of the Chief's and Petty Officers' Association and the Royal Canadian Legion. Memorial service at St. Michael and St Luke's Chapel, Memorial Pavilion, 2355 Richmond Avenue, on Monday, May 7 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Isles officiating. Cremation.
