REIMER, Dwight Peter - Of Western Shore, born September 23, 1947, in Winnipeg, Man. Dwight passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Devina and son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Amanda; beautiful grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew and Chloe; sister, Lorri; many sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; great- nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins in Manitoba, and many friends. Dwight joined the Navy in 1965 and served his country for nine years. He graduated from NSCC in 1974 as an Electronic Technologist. He enjoyed working at BIO for 25 years as an Electronic Technologist with the Department of Fisheries. For several years, Dwight was proud to be part of a team with UNCLOS. He loved building and flying model airplanes, as well as finished carpentry. Dwight was always a faithful member at his local church. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life on Wednesday, February 5th at 2 p.m. in Aenon Baptist Church, Chester Basin, Pastor Joe Green officiating. He will be greatly missed here on earth and is now with the Lord in Heaven. Donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or your preferred charitable organization.
