For Posterity's Sake A Royal Canadian Navy Historical Project
In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WEBER, Peter Andrew - Musician. Sales professional. Lover of jazz. Devoted fan of the Blue Jays, Raptors, and soccer. Life-long Lutheran. Cared about animals especially all of his many puppies. Avid reader. Student of history. Outdoorsman. Proud RCN veteran. RCMP Auxiliary volunteer. Peter grew up in Ontario, joined the Canadian Navy in the 1960’s, and traveled extensively over North America in his career in sales. Retired in Ladner, BC, and was able to do what he loved best: making music, especially jazz with his co-musicians David and Christine as the Ice Jam Trio until he and Joyce moved to Comox in 2015. Peter passed away on October 2nd, 2019 in his 83rd year and is survived by his wife Joyce (Wilson) and, in Ontario, by his daughter Paula (Windsor) and grandchildren Gregory and Elysia. Memorial service to be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1688 McPhee Ave, Courtenay, on Saturday, Oct 19th, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or Faith Lutheran would be appreciated.
