ANDERSON, Samuel - Leading Seaman Samuel Anderson, 31, of Beaverbank, died at his home Monday. He was born in Motherwell, Scotland, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Lowe) Anderson, Toronto. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, the former Irene Christie; two daughters, Patti and Heather, both at home; two sisters, Christine (Mrs.. Henry Leird), Toronto; Helen (Mrs. James Watson), Wishaw, Scotland; one brother William, Toronto. The body is at the R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Bedford. Funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Stadacona Protestant Chapel, Halifax, with military honors, Padre E. Timmons officiating. Burial will follow at sea.
