In October last Mr. McLeod underwent an operation at the Victoria General hospital, Halifax, following which he was removed to Dawson Memorial hospital here where he remained a patient for nearly seven weeks. About 25 years ago with his wife, the former Miss Kate Nicholson, Souris, P.E.I., he came to Bridgewater, where he has since resided as manager of the Oil Company here.
