In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
McCREARY, Edward (Ted) - It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Edward "Ted" McCreary after a long courageous battle with cancer. Husband of 52 years to Marie McCreary, loving father to Wendy (Adams), Jeff, David (Danielle Curtis), and grandfather to Jeremy (Thorne). He was a veteran of the Canadian Navy and a proud member of the Preston Scout House Band. He will be fondly remembered for his trumpet playing, wood carving, and his love of music and art. Tremendous thanks go out to the many doctors, nurses, PSWs and health care staff that helped him through his journey. We will celebrate his life on Sunday, January 19 at the Brantford Navy Club (54 Wadsworth St.) from 1-4pm with a toast to Ted at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Brantford SPCA. (the Brantford Expositor 24 Dec 2019)
