HALL, Arthur (Nobby) - 82, Dartmouth, passed away June 16, 2003, in Ocean View Manor. Born in Birmingham, England, he was a son of the late William and Annie (Seargent) Hall. He served with the British Royal Navy during the Second World War as a Chief Petty Officer and a former employee with the HMC Dockyard for 28 years. He was a volunteer with the Dartmouth Boys and Girls Club and Dartmouth Senior's Centre. Surviving are daughters, Joyanne (Bud) Warnell, Heather (Stephen Legere), Cheryl (Darren) Crawley, Shawna, all of Dartmouth; Deanna (Donny) Bryan, Yellowknife; sons, Keith, Trevor (Michelle), both of Dartmouth; Robert (Carol), Chezzetcook; sister, Gladys Dixon, England; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce; sisters, Annie, Elizabeth, Ethel, Flossie; brothers, William, Kenneth, James. Visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. James United Church, Sheet Harbour, Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
