ZINCK, Irvin Eric Charlie - We are truly saddened to announce that Irvin "Charlie", passed away suddenly but peacefully on November 16, 2019 at the age of 76. He was tinkering with something mechanical on his trailer, while in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with his wife Paula. He was born on April 13, 1943 and was the first child of the late Elizabeth (Power) and Eric Zinck. Irvin had a 30-year career in the Canadian Navy, travelling extensively for many of them. After retiring from the navy, Irvin turned his efforts to instructing at Compu College, and finished his work life at IMP Aerospace in his late 60's. He is survived by his wife, Paula (Brown); daughters, Denise and Krista (Kevin); stepchildren, Lisa and Bill McDonald, and several grandchildren. Irvin also leaves behind siblings, Marj, Eric Jr., Robert, Robin, and Judy. His other brother Gerald unfortunately passed only a few days after Irvin. In addition, he was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley (Scott), and his sister, Jean. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral service by request; perhaps a gathering at a later date. Rest in Peace, and know you will be missed in so many ways.
