GIROUX, Roger John-Paul Joseph I. - 60, Essex, Ont., formerly of Dartmouth, died November 18, 1992, at home. Born in Tecumseh, Ont., he was a son of Flora (Mouseau) Giroux, Windsor, Ont. and the late Napolean Giroux. He was employed with General Motors, Windsor, Ont. at the time of his death and was a former employee of the Royal Canadian Navy. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Groom; six daughters, Catherine Gravelle, Dartmouth; Tina Carpenter-Babin, Elmsdale; Rachelle (Mrs. Raymond Pare), Waverley; Michelle (Mrs. Thomas Foster), Windsor, Ont.; Nanette (Mrs. Barry AKselson), Castlegar, B.C.; KerriLynn, at home; three sons, Thomas, Seashell, B.C.; Roger, Dartmouth; Darren, at home; several brothers and sisters in Windsor; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his former wife, Dorothy Saltzman Giroux, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. Funeral was held Saturday in Reid's Funeral Home, Essex. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date in St. Stephen, N.B.
