FABIAN, Dennis David - Funeral was held Tuesday in Indian Harbour United Baptist for Dennis David Fabian, 68, of India Harbour, NS, who died Saturday at home. Burial was in the church cemetery. Born in Toronto, he was a son of the late David and Matilda (Watts) Fabian. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving from 1943-45 with the Royal Canadian Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. For the last 10 years he was employed with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires at NAD. He is survived by his wife, the former Jennie Covey; two step-daughters, Sheila (Mrs. Lloyd Caines), Indian Harbour; Eileen, Sambro; two sisters, Joan (Mrs. Patrick Adario), Toronto; Diana (Mrs. Joseph Smith), Churchville, PA.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son Nelson. Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation or Indian Harbour United Church Memorial Fund.
