Died: 22 Nov 2000, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

HINE, Kimberley (Kim) - 79, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, November 22, 2000, in Veteran's Memorial Building, QEII. Born in Victoria, B.C., he was a son of the late Alfred and Jane (Phelan) Hine. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and was employed with the Naval Fire Department for a combination of 36 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian (Stone); daughters, Jane Carter, Halifax; Doreen (Anselm) Hann, Dartmouth; Sandra Lowe, London, Ont.; Tina Howe (granddaughter), Dartmouth; stepson, Albert (Eva) Hunt, Hatchet Lake; stepdaughter, Juanita (Stanley) Chase, Dartmouth; sisters, Doreen; Jane (Bill), Florence (Fred), Margaret (Ted), all of British Columbia; stepbrother, Allan Hine, British Columbia; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 26, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, Main Street, Highway 1, Dartmouth. Funeral service on Monday, November 27, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Atlantic Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow burial. Family flowers only.
