Jack Robert Malmloff

Died: 18 Feb 2011, Edmonton, Alberta

 

MALMLOFF, Jack Robert - died peacefully on February 18, 2011 at the Kipnes Centre for Veterans. Jack was born on April 15, 1924 in Toronto, Ontario and served in the Canadian Navy in Uganda from 1941-45 and re-enlisted in the Canadian Air Force in 1946 till retiring in 1972 when he married Marie Grace Scheelar and lived together for 38 years when she predeceased him on August 25, 2010. Jack is survived by his loving family, daughter, Peggy (Tim) Hopton, grandchildren, Andrea (Walter) Sayers and Lauren (Keith) Corwin. He is also survived by his extended family, daughter Trudy Glover, grandchildren William Glover, Lisa Glover and Gary Glover–semicolon– daughter, Renate Scheelar, grandchildren Julie (Jim) Carney and great grandchildren Sarah and Rhett–semicolon– grandson, Corey (Janelle Eaton) Scheelar–semicolon– son, Dwayne (Bess) Scheelar and grandchild, Jordyn Scheelar. He was predeceased by his son, Daryle Scheelar on June 13, 2010. A Memorial Service celebrating Jack’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
