KING, David Jeff - age 59, died suddenly on January 22, 2018 in Halifax. David was born on September 20, 1958 in Kipling, Sask., to Lillian Bagu and Garnet King. He spent approximately three years in the Canadian Navy and worked 32 years as a Commissionaire at the Halifax Dockyard. He married Dianne Turcotte on May 16, 1980 and together they had three children. David is survived by his wife, Dianne; their children, Amanda King, Jennifer King, and Jessica King; his grandchildren, Desaree Doucette, Dylan and Brianna King, Danica King, and Gregory and Jaxson Harding; siblings, Deborah Westhaver, Arthur King, and Connie King. He was predeceased by his mother, Lillian Bagu. He loved to joke and laugh. He lived a full life with his beloved family and his many friends. Funeral will be held on January 31st, wake at 1 p.m., service at 2 p.m. followed by a reception, all in T.K. Barnard Funeral Chapel on Dutch Village Road.
