Died: 14 Sep 2009, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

 

SEIFRIED, Terrance H. - age 59, local businessman, owner of Atlantic Aero Marine Supply and Manufacturing Ltd., Burnside, Dartmouth, died after a valiant fight with brain cancer on September 14, 2006. He was an avid antique car buff and owned several Ford antique cars. His favourite was a 1966 Fairlaine GTA Convertible. In the late 1970s and 80s he was involved with the Dartmouth Junior A Hockey League. He served as vice-president of the league, promoter, backer and announcer. He enjoyed going on the road trips with the teams. His early career was in the Royal Canadian Navy. He is survived by wife, Elaine, Cole Harbour; daughter, Holly (Mark) Martin; grandchildren, Shelby, Glendon, Alexander and Brooklynn, West Lawrencetown Road; mother, Mary, Guelph, Ont.; brothers, Dennis (Anne), Ronald, Steven (Darlene), Andrew (Wendy), Daryl (Pam), Michael (Wendy), Guelph, Ont.; sisters, Darlene (Doug) Findlay, Cambridge, Ont.; Megan (Paul) Wayne, Tara (Jeff), Guelph; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Dartmouth General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Canadian Diabetes Association, Red Cross Society or Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation today 2-9 p.m. and a memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday, with reception to follow, all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth.
