JOHNSON, Alfred David - was born to Thomas and Marie on July 21, 1934 in Niagara Falls. Siblings; twin Donald, Victoria B.C. and Thomas, St. Catharines. Barry and Norma predeceased. Father of Lee, Port Dover and Laney, St. Catharines. Step-Father to Roger, predeceased. Grandchildren Ashley, Elisabeth, Grace and Cameron. Five great-grandchildren. David lived a full and active life. He joined the Navy at 17 years of age and retired after 26 years. He was a member of the elite crew that represented Canada in an International Yacht Race aboard the HMCS Pickle, from Bermuda to Britain. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Dalhousie and Port Dover and the Naval Vets Association. The Family thanks the staff at Dover Cliffs Long Term Care, cousin Paul and nephew Alan for their care and support. David passed away on October 4, 2019. Cremation has taken place. R.I.P. A Celebration Of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 158 in Port Dover on Sunday, November 10th from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Music provided and all musicians welcome to join.
