Died: 31 May 1986, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

 

COREY, Grant Lawson - 62, of 119 Portland Street, Dartmouth, died Saturday at home. Born in Salmon Creek, NB, he was the son of Esther (Dikeman) Corey and the late Ernest Corey. He was a retired member of the Royal Canadian Navy and a member of Somme Branch 31, Royal  Canadian Legion. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Theresa, a daughter, Corene Hennessy, and a son, Randall, all of Halifax-Dartmouth and Metro area; a sister, Carol, Ohio; three grandchildren. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Weldon and step-father, Wilfred Spencer. The body is in Dartmouth Funeral Home, Queen Street. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in Minto, NB, at a later date. A Legion service will be held in the funeral home tonight at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
