Born: 22 Apr 1922

Died: 17 Sep 2019, Stonewall, Manitoba

HARMAN, Harold (Harry) - It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Harry. He was predeceased by his wife Laura, of 56 years; and daughter Donna; as well as three brothers, Norman, Eric, Ernie; and grand-dog Koko. Harold is survived by son Lorne (Valorie); daughter Dodi (Marc); grandchildren, Chris (Carrie), Stacy, Justin (Shohreh), Erik (Nicole), Brandon, Lance, Peter, Amanda and; special niece Lynn (Ed), as well as several great-grandchildren. Harry served with the Navy in active duty in the Second World War. Dad worked with Good Year, where he was transferred to British Columbia and retired in 1981. Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling and later moved back to Winnipeg. After the death of his wife, Harry resided in Stonewall at Lions Manor and then Rosewood Lodge. Dad enjoyed playing cribbage and watching sports. He enjoyed riding his scooter (a.k.a. the Harley) on his visits to Lorne and Valorie's house to spend time with his grand-dogs – Koko, Oliver and Kinsey and having the odd shot of rum. Special thanks to Dr. Graham and the home care workers at Lions Manor and all the great staff at Rosewood Lodge for making his stay as comfortable as possible. As per Harry's wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.  (Winnipeg Free Press 21 Sep 2019)
