Died: 14 Aug 1964, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

HEISLER, Frederick Arthur - 44, died Friday in the Victoria General Hospital. He was a son of Mrs. Celeste Heisler and the late Reuben Heisler of Chester. Mr. Heisler was a shipwright, employed at HMC Dockyard in Halifax. He was a member of F.E. Butler Branch No. 44, Royal Canadian Legion, Chester. He is survived by: his wife Helen; a daughter Elizabeth; three sons, Frederick Jr., Timothy, and Donald, all of Chester; nine sisters, Nellie (Mrs. Arthur Corkum) of East Chester, Olive (Mrs. John Daley) of Brookline, Mass., Mary (Mrs. Daniel Levy) of Tancook, Annie (Mrs. Thomas Doolin) of Brookline, Mass., Zoe (Mrs. John Barner) of Brookline, Mass., Hattie (Mrs. Frederick DeMont) of St. Croix, N.S., June  (Mrs. Walter Corkum) of Chester, Celesta (Mrs. Clarence William) of Ottawa, Elizabeth (Mrs. Robert Cunningham) of New Glasgow; four brothers, Benjamin of Chester; Joseph and Owen, Halifax, and Reuben of Chester. Funeral service will be held Monday, 2:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church, Chester, with Rev. M.A. Gibson officiating. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery, Chester.
