In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
KEMP, Vernon Randolph - 62, Toronto, formerly of Halifax and Bridgewater, died Saturday in Toronto. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Fletcher A. and Jennie (Weagle) Kemp. He was a veteran of the Second World ar, having served as petty officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. He is survived by a brother, Aubrey, Ottawa; three sisters, Leone (Mrs. Walter Ritcey), Bridgewater; Mrs. Carrie O'Connell, Halifax; Georgina (Mrs. William Canham), Orleans, Ont. The body has been cremated and a graveside committal service will be held in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, at a later date. (Halifax Chronicle-Herald 04 Nov 1987, pg 44)
