HALLETT, Douglas R.D. - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas Hallett, at the age of 52 on July 15, 2019. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on April 27, 1967, Doug joined the Royal Canadian Navy as a young man where he was a proud member for 23 years. The pride he felt for his country was outshone only by the pride he felt for his children whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his children, Alexandra Hallett, Mikaela Hallett, Mackenzie Hallett and Noah Hallett; his parents Joan St. Onge and Eugene Hallett; his siblings John Hallett, Faith Spatz, Paul Hallett, Tim Hallett, Andrew Hallett, Cathy Hallett, Susan Hallett, and Sharon Hallett; and his grandson, Chase Adams. He is predeceased by his eldest daughter, Ashley Thibodeau. A Celebration of his Life will be held 2pm Tuesday, August 6th in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #160, 703 Main Street, Dartmouth. Donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion.
