Died: 1984, Halifax, NS

 

Obituary:BELL, Bernard William - 54, of Prospect Bay, died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Chesley, Ont., he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Smith) Bell. He was a Chief Warrent Officer MMM CD, Retired, and spent 25 years in the R.C.N. Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Zinck; four sons, William, East Dover; Thomas, Port Elgin, Ont; David, Dartmouth; James at home; two daughters Susan, St. Catherine, Ont; Ann Marie at home; two brothers, Maurice and Joseph, Elmwood, Ontario; two sisters Beatrice, Toronto and Marjorie, Elmwood, four grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother Harvey and sister June. Cruickshanks Funeral Home, Halifax, where service will be p.m. Tuesday then the body sent to Elmwood for funeral and buried in Elmwood Cemetery.
