NEILSON, Walter, PO, 25421-H, RCN, died - 08 Aug 1954, HMCS STADACONA - Born 31 Oct 1926, Glasgow, Scotland, son of Effingham and Jeanie Neilson of Glasgow, Scotland; brother of Mary McGee of Scotland and Jeanie Elliott of England.
Walter drowned in a water transport accident in dense fog in Halifax harbour. He was buried in the Fort Massey Cemetery, Halifax, NS on 12 Nov 1954.
