Died: 09 Dec 1962, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

HENN, William Percy - died at his home, 1233 Queen Street, Halifax, Friday. He was born in England 68 years ago and was a retired petty officer of the Royal Canadian Navy, having served more than 30 years. He was married three times, his first wife, the former Dorothy Westlake and one infant child were lost in the Halifax explosion, his second wife, the former, Gertrude Kidney died 14 years ago, his surviving widow is the former Mrs. Annabelle Bellfountain; also surviving are two sons, William, Halifax and Ronald, Goodwood; three daughters, Helen (Mrs. Theodore Martin) Central Economy, Marion (Mrs. Edwin Oakley) Spryfield and Donna (Mrs. William LaRue) Halifax; two stepsons, George, Ontario and Arthur, Fairview; one step daughter, Dolores (Mrs. Frank O'Neil); 11 grandchildren. The body is at the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home and funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Canon G.S. Tanlon officiating. Interment will be in St. John's cemetery.
