FINDLAY, John Leroy - was born in Dartmouth, NS in 1924. He served in the Canadian Navy during WW2 in Canada, England and France from 1943 to 1945. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, The France and Germany Star, the CVSM and the 1939-45 War Medal. He was wounded in France in 1944. He was demobilized in Oct 1945. John passed away in 2001.
