GILBERT, William Lester - Retired Captain William L. Gilbert, CD, RCN / C.A.F. after 25 years, December 6, 1945 - November 1, 1970, furthering his career as a CGA teaching at Ryerson University ~ Entered into rest suddenly with his wife at his side on Saturday, May 15, 2010. William was the beloved husband of Joan Hargrave. Sadly missed by his Zoe. Remembered and missed by his nephews Steven and Frank Marcus, their families and extended family and friends. Memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 22nd at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 40 William Street North, Lindsay, Ontario at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. If desired memorial donations to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source, or the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
