FORSYTH, Hugh Wallace - Entered into rest on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville, ON, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Irene (1994). Predeceased by his daughter Linda Scott (1990). Loving father to Hugh James Forsyth (Sharon) of Porcupine, ON. Father-in-law to Bruce Scott. Dear grandfather of Amanda and Tiffany Forsyth, Keith Scott (Pauline), Karen Davidson (Rob) and Kevin Scott (Melanie). Great-grandfather to Andrew, Andrea, Noah, Sadie and Gage. Predeceased by his brothers, Bob and James. Also survived by his sister Rebecca Bain as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Hugh will be fondly remembered by his friends, Betty Williamson, Ben and Jimmy. Hugh was a veteran of WWII and served with the R.C.N. and the R.N. Following the war, Hugh went to work at Procter and Gamble. After 23 years of service there, he ventured out to run a tourist camp in North Bay. A few years later, he went into the real estate business and retired from that in 1990. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
