Harry St. Clair Gibson

 

Died: 22 Jun 1974, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

GIBSON, Harry St. Clair - 65, of 6320 York Street, Halifax, died Saturday at Camp Hill Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Robie W. and Mabel Gibson. He was a marine engineer until his retirement 5 years ago. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Scotia Branch 25. He is survived by his wife, the former Vera Baker; a son, Gordon Draker, Ottawa; two stepsons, Fenwick Gray Jr., and David Gray, both of Halifax, 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Everett. The body is at Cruikshank's Funeral home, where funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Sackville.
