Charles Edward James (Ted) Anslow

Born: 25 Sep 1918

 

Died: 03 Feb 1989, Victoria, British Columbia

 

ANSLOW, Charles Edward James (Ted) - in Victoria, B.C., at the age of 70 years. Survived by his loving wife, Flo; two sons, Charles of Victoria, Edward and wife Deanna of Tsawwassen; two grandchildren, Erika and Kelly; his brother, Jack and wife Agnes of Victoria, also many nieces and nephews, their families and relatives in England. he served with the RCN for 10 years and was a member of the Esquimalt Branch #172, Royal Canadian Legion, a member of the Chief's and PO's Association, and had been a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Mr. Anslow had worked for 24 years at Dockyard and Rocky Point. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m., in St. Paul's Church, 1379 Esquimalt Road, Victoria, B.C., with Rev. M. Ames and the Ven. Arch. H. Greenhaigh officiating. Interment to follow at Hatley Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be conducted from the Chapel at the Memorial Pavilion on Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, may be made to St. paul's Church memorial Fund, 1379 Esquimalt Road, Victoria, B.C., V9A 3R4.
