POLLOCK, Timothy John Wilbert - Born December 26, 1924 in Vancouver, BC, passed away on August 6, 2006 in New Westminster, BC, surrounded by his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Rita (nee Robinson, a.k.a, Reddemann); children Florence (Ron) Dunbar, Patricia Klassen, Timothy (Dina), Patrick (Melody), Dorothy (Kevin) Casey, Cassandra, Robert; siblings Mary (Anthony) Masters, Patrick, Robert; grandchildren Matthew, Benjamin, Sean, Cole, Crystal, Annistacia, as well as many extended family and friends. He is predeceased by sister Alice French. Tim was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War and was an active member of his community, including the BC Lung Association, Community Police, Crime Watch, and Royal Canadian Legion 263. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, BC. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 263 Banquet Hall, 1025 Ridgeway Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim's memory may be made to the BC Lung Association-Trekker #1. "You will be greatly missed by all" (Vancouver Sun / The Province 11 Aug 2006)
