Died: 06 Apr 1958, North Bay, Ontario

 

GARTSHORE, William Clive - died on April 6, 1958 in North Bay, Ontario at the very young age of 42. He is buried with his parents in Hillcrest Cemetery in Parry Sound, Ontario where he was born. His niece credits him for saving her from drowning at a young age in Gilles Lake in Timmins, Ontario several years prior to his service in WW2.

HMCS MONTCALM - Appointed Slt, RCNVR seniority 15 Feb 1943.  Appointed A/Lt, RCNVR seniority 15 Feb 1944

HMCS PETERBOROUGH - Appointed to Peterborough 26 Jun 1944 as A/Lt, RCNVR
