The North Atlantic Convoy Bell

 

The North Atlantic Convoy bell is located (alternating) at St Brendan's Chapel, CFB Halifax and HMCS SACKVILLE

 

The Convoy Bell

The Convoy Bell was purchased from Capital Iron in Victoria, BC, for the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic ceremonies held in Londonderry, Ireland. The bell was consecrated in Saint Columb's Cathedral, Ireland, as part of the ceremonies. It remained there on display until September 2005 when it was returned to HMCS Sackville.  The bell new spends part of each year at the Chapel of Remembrance in CFB Halifax
