SAMPSON, Edward John - It is with great sadness that we announce Ed's passing at Kingston General Hospital just days before his 96th birthday. Born in St. Stephen NB, son of the late Everett & Florence Sampson of St. Andrews NB. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Gordon) for over 74 years. Predeceased by his siblings Arnold, Irma & Corine "Billie". Loving father of Cindy (John) & Joel (Rhonalea). Grandfather of Carrie (Marty), Adam, Kyra & Marshall. Great-grandfather of Nolan. Uncle of Wendy, Neil, Tom, Holly, Lisa, Kitty, Karen & Gerald.
Ed was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, the Royal Canadian Legion & a long term employee of the City of Ottawa.
