In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
BIRCHARD, Terry Allen - of Victoria, BC, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 65.
Born in Victoria, Terry proudly served Canada for 46 years. 37 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, retiring in 2017 as Petty Officer First Class. He continued his maritime service with the Canadian Coast Guard until retiring in 2025.
Terry was predeceased by his first wife, Sandy. He is survived by his wife, Dawn MacKinnon Birchard; his son Brandon; his parents, Dale and Joy Birchard; and brothers, Dale, Tod Larry. Terry's dry, sarcastic sense of humour will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Tribute to Terry will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Langford Prince Edward Branch 91, on April 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
