In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
DeCOSTA, Michael Edward (Mike) - A lifelong resident of Esquimalt, BC, Mike passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital surrounded by family.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Johanna DeCosta, and brother Eddie.
Lovingly remembered by his children, Mick (Shawna) DeCosta and Marie (Corey) Payne; his grandsons Griffin, Owen, Graham and Aidan; his sisters Eileen (Earl) Wicks and Joanne (Joseph) Romano; brother Robert DeCosta; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later worked as a machinist in the shipyards.
He enjoyed fishing the waters of Esquimalt Harbour, golfing at Gorge Vale, and spending time at Saxe Point Park displaying his many cars.
