In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
POWERS, Lawrence (Larry) - Passed away peacefully on September 11, 2010 in Truro, NS from cancer at the hospital in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Catherine B. Powers and father to four sons. Dear son of John E. Powers and predeceased by mother Lilian R. (Bobbie) in 1972. Survived by brothers John and Frank and sisters Claire and Catherine. Larry was formerly a Warrant Officer in the RCN and retired as a Captain in the RCAF. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Bernard's Church, Enfield, NS on September 16th followed by interment in the church's adjacent cemetery. May he rest in peace.
