In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
O'BRIEN, Lillian Marie - Our mother passed on July 7th, quietly, as she would have liked. She is survived by her two sons Pat and Kevin as well as a brother, sister and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was born on a small farm in Northern Saskatchewan where she and her family survived the Depression.
She left home early to join the Navy, she spend two years as a Wren reading and editing letters to and from the front line.
She married Jack O'Brien in Edmonton then moved to Vancouver in 1960.
From boating, to skiing, to motor homing and travel abroad, Lillian had a full and fulfilling life.
She is dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. (The Vancouver Sun & The Province 15 Jul 2025)
