In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
CARTLIDGE, Larry Bruce - Bruce left us peacefully on June 29, 2025 at the age of 81 years.
He is survived by wife Myrna, children Heather (Phil Hines) and James (Crystal), and grandchildren: Jordan, Kelsey, & Bryson (Heather), Emma & Jimmy (James). He was predeceased by his first wife Judy (Morreau) in 2000.
Born in Souris, Manitoba on November 28, 1943, Bruce proudly served over 35 years in the Navy, accumulating 13 years at sea. He retired in 1995 as a Chief Petty Officer First Class.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Home, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC at 2:00 PM on September 13, 2025. Donations in memory of Bruce can be made to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital or Veterans Memorial Lodge. (The Victoria Times Colonist 27 Jul 2025)
