In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
ROACH, Emmett Bernard - Emmett Roach, GO train mover - a retired Canadian National employee who was instrumental in developing the GO Train concept, died Monday at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. He was 64. During the early 1950s he was chairman of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. (The Toronto Star, Wed, 29 Jan 1981)
