Died: 22 Jan 1996, Vancouver, British Columbia

 

HIBBARD, James Calcutt (Stumpy) - former resident of Victoria, BC, passed away at age 87 on January 22, 1996, at Vancouver Hospital-UBC site. Predeceased by his wife, Inez in 1988. Survived by two sons, Dick (Shannon) of Vancouver and Bill (Margaret) of West Vancouver; also by grandchildren, Julie and Bruce, Christine and John. The family would like to thank the staff on the second floor, Extended Care, at Vancouver Hospital-UBC site, for all their care and support over the past two years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 1611 Quadra Street, Victoria, B.C. Archdeacon Robert MacRae officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully received by the James and Inez Hibbard Fund, Victoria Foundation, 216-6454 Fort St. ,Victoria, B.C. V8W 1G2.

 

RAdm James Hibbards brothers were brothers were LCdr Hubert James Fitzmaurice Hibbard and Cmdre Godfrey Musgrave Hibbard
