HALIFAX COUNTY, NOVA SCOTIA MARRIAGE REGISTERS & INDEXES
The Halifax Marriage Registers and Indexes are available here thanks to the work of many volunteers. This is a work in progress and files will be posted once they have been transcribed and verified against the original records. Completed files are in Adobe PDF and/or Excel. These files have been made available to post on For Posterity's Sake Genealogy with the kind permission of Ron Zinck.
Copies of the registers are available for $5/copy or 8 copies for $30 from Ron Zinck. All funds will be used to fund the transcription project.
WEBMASTERS NOTE: Further transcriptions on this project have been suspended as the Halifax County Marriage Registers are now available on line at Nova Scotia Historical Vital Statistics. The work of Ron Zinck and all those who helped in the transcriptions will remain here as they received numerous emails correcting information on the registers. My sincerest thanks to Ron and his team who worked on this project.
